TADSS Support Operations
PL TADSS Support Operations ACT System Overview
Call For Fire Trainer III (CFFT III) Fielded World-wide Multiple configurations and generations supported Able to interface with other simulation systems or operational platforms Each system includes:
simulated military equipment (SME) Lightweight Laser Designator Rangefinder (LLDR) as part of an enhanced student station In full-sustainment and will be replaced with SSVT in FY2027
Fire Support Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (FSCATT) A6 Configuration Used to train the gunnery team Has a digital on-board Fire Control System 10 devices at Ft Sill, plus 6 around the world including Fort Bliss and Korea A7 version in development
High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, Mockup Training System (HIMARS-MTS)
Provides direct support maintenance and operator level training for the M142 HIMARS 40 preprogrammed faults that can be inserted for System Troubleshooting and it is used for Testing Students in overall system knowledge 8 fielded at Fort Lee, VA Currently under going a Tech Refresh with a USG acceptance in 3rd quarter FY22
Multiple Launch Rocket System Mockup Trainer
MLRS-MTS
Provide computer controlled malfunctions that simulate various equipment faults to familiarize mechanics in critical maintenance procedures 60 preprogrammed faults that can be inserted for System Troubleshooting 4 of these devices at Fort Lee, VA Refresh with a USG acceptance in 4th quarter FY22
HIMARS HPC DEVICE & MLRS HPU DEVICE
The HIMARS HPC and MLRS HPU are used to provide Hydraulic Power to the Tactical systems in order operate them inside without running the diesel engine providing a cleaner environment for training.
8 HIMARS HPC and 2 MLRS HPU Fielded at Fort Lee, VA
Additional HIMARS and MLRS Training Systems HIMARS and MLRS Diagnostics Trainers (DT) PC based device to teach Diagnostic and Troubleshooting skills and to HIMARS and MLRS Direct Support Repair Personnel 120 Pre-Programmed faults used to teach basic Troubleshooting and repair procedures 3 Twelve-Man Classrooms at Fort Lee HIMARS Organizational Maintenance Trainer (OMT) Teaches Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) skills and Conduct of Fire Missions to HIMARS vehicle operators 2 instructor and 24 student stations at Fort Sill
Fire Finder Training Devices
Fire Finder Organizational Maintenance Trainer Device Provides Computer-Aided Instruction on AN/TPQ-36 (V) 8, simulating specific physical characteristics and performance of the radar system to supplement training of students on critical Maintenance tasks 4 complete systems fielded at Ft Sill
Reconfigurable Tabletop Trainer (RT3) Supports unit and school training needs without the use of tactical equipment Reconfigurable trainer with the capability to interconnect several stand-alone stations together to support system level training exercises 253 Student Stations supported at Fort Sill and 18 at other CONUS locations
Ayers-Contractor, Clinton (CA) - App A is correct and should be reflected as such.
Air Defense Artillery Devices Stinger Troop Proficiency Trainer (STPT)
Improved Moving Target Simulator (IMTS) Provide interactive simulations of tactical engagement sequences to deliver gunners with the basic technical skills required to successfully engage targets with the Stinger weapon system Replicate Stinger weapon with a simulated terrain scene that reacts to the operation and orientation of the launch tube Roughly 150 STPT devices of varying configurations fielded world-wide Currently one IMTS Training Dome at North Dakota ARNG and one scheduled to be installed at Ft. Sill, OK in 1st quarter of FY22
Air Defense Artillery Devices Deployable system capable of meeting the Air Defense gunnery training requirements Provides basic entry level training system to train crewmembers in engagement techniques (alert, cue, search, detect, acquire, identify, track, and engage)
Simulates the tactical Avenger turret interior, supporting hardware/software components, and physically and functionally simulates the physical components Enables students to perform the mental and physical activities required during search and engagement missions
Avenger Slew-To-Cue Table Top Trainer (AT3)
Avenger Institutional Conduct of Fire Trainer (ICOFT)
Chemical Training Devices NBCRV trainer uses Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Reconnaissance based scenarios to present the individual and crews with CBRN hazards New configuration of NBCRV retrofitted in to the idle FOX Trainer hulls at Fort Leonard Wood CAMSIM provides for simulation of point source and area based contamination 82 CAMSIMs fielded world-wide supported by Fort Leonard Wood.
Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) Weapon System Basic Skills Trainer (BST)
ATGM BST WITH TEST BED
ATGM BST INSTRUCTOR STATION
Provides initial-entry ATGM basic gunner skills, basic and advanced individual gunnery, sustainment training in the unit, and formal qualification training ATGMs fielded at Fort Bliss, Fort Sill, and Germany
ATGM GUNNER STATION
Counter Rocket Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM) Land-Based Phalanx Weapon Systems (LPWS) Operator/Maintainer Trainer (OMT)
Classroom Student Station
Unit Student Station C-RAM Classroom Student Station C-RAM Unit Student Station Provides a complete classroom with an Instructor Operator Station (IOS) and Student Stations (SSs). Each student station consists of a desktop computer, two monitors, keyboard, mouse, and communication headset.
Has no IOS. The Soldier(s) use the ruggedized laptop to complete the self-pace training in all three modes. The Unit Student Station does not track or archive performance scoring. The Unit Student Station is a standalone trainer.
