About this file

This pricing sheet outlines five deduct alternates for the renovation of the first and second floors of Building 58 into a domiciliary at a Veterans Affairs medical center. The base contract and each deduct alternate provide pricing for general construction, electrical, and mechanical work. The deduct alternates specify areas or aspects of work that would be omitted from the base contract scope, such as omitting renovations from certain bedrooms and bathrooms, using alternative piping materials, or connecting building automation controls to the existing campus network rather than providing a standalone system. Pricing is requested to be provided for the base contract and each deduct alternate option. The related federal contract solicitation is for the renovation project with a 100% small business set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
