About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a U.S. Embassy event involving an American Corners tour across 9 locations in Malaysia. The event is planned for December 2025, with a national kickoff in Kuala Lumpur on either December 5 or 12, and subsequent tours spread out over the following year. The vendor is responsible for multiple aspects of the tour, including booth design (3x3 meters, indoor), media content development, social media campaigns, transportation, event logistics, artist sourcing, and survey creation.
Key requirements include hosting 300 visitors per location, developing branded booths with 65-inch TVs, creating media content for Facebook and Instagram, organizing performances, managing film screening licenses, and conducting a 200-person survey primarily targeting youth. The vendor must provide 4,000 publicity collaterals, develop 1-minute highlight videos per location, capture high-resolution photos and videos, and produce comprehensive reports (2-5 pages per location). The embassy will facilitate press contacts and provide branding guidelines, with the vendor responsible for most event execution details, including venue selection in Perak, Terengganu, and Johor.
