About this file

This is an architectural clarification document from New Brock Architects addressing bidder questions regarding a window replacement project. The project involves the replacement of windows at an unspecified educational facility, with particular attention to matching adjacent buildings including the Student Center Building and the existing Correll Building. The scope of work explicitly excludes doors and door assemblies despite their appearance in project documents. The architect has provided three key clarifications: doors and door assemblies are not included in the project scope, the final window color will be selected by the owner to match either the Student Center Building or the Correll Building, and replacement windows for Alternate #2 should be submitted as non-impact rated glazing rather than impact-rated materials.

No pricing information, set-asides, response deadlines, site visit dates, or bidder conference details are provided in this clarification document. The document serves solely as a question-and-answer format to resolve ambiguities in the bidding documents and does not establish contracting timelines, funding sources, or award procedures.
