About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the replacement and upgrade of Air Handler Unit (AHU) controls at the Standing Rock Agency Facilities Management in Fort Yates, North Dakota. The existing TRANE AHU unit with Honeywell controls has failed and requires immediate replacement to restore critical facility functions including seasonal cooling transitions between mechanical and free cooling systems, fresh air intake regulation, indoor air quality management, and occupant safety compliance.
The contractor must furnose all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to diagnose the control failure, remove failed components, provide and install compatible Honeywell-brand replacement hardware with updated wiring, program and calibrate the new system, and conduct comprehensive testing to verify airflow, temperature regulation, and functional performance. Required deliverables include a fully functional and calibrated control system, an installed components list, updated wiring diagrams if system modifications are made, test results and verification logs, manufacturer warranty information, and a final written completion report. The contractor must be qualified and experienced in commercial HVAC controls diagnostics and replacement, supply all necessary tools and test instrumentation, comply with federal, regional, and agency safety standards, and coordinate all on-site work with Facilities Management while minimizing downtime due to 24/7 facility occupancy. Work must begin immediately upon award and continue without interruption until the system is fully restored. Acceptance is contingent upon verification that cooling transitions function properly, fresh air and ventilation controls operate as designed, testing confirms sustained system performance, all documentation is received and approved, and updated wiring diagrams and warranty information are provided per manufacturer specifications.
