About this file

This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the relocation of a double-wide office trailer owned by the Bureau of Reclamation's Four Corners Construction Office (FCCO) in New Mexico.

The contractor must relocate a 24-foot-wide by 60-foot-long double-wide office trailer from its current location near Yah-Ta-Hey Junction in McKinley County, New Mexico (GPS coordinates 35.629609, -108.779830) to the San Juan Lateral River Intake Pumping Plant site at 3895 US-64, Fruitland, New Mexico, located in San Juan County. Key contractor responsibilities include: obtaining all required transportation permits and clearances from New Mexico DOT and local authorities; determining the transportation route and schedule subject to Reclamation approval; disconnecting plumbing and sewer lines and removing skirting at the origin site; securing furniture and equipment inside the trailer for safe transport; providing a Job Hazard Analysis and proof of insurance prior to work commencement; and completing installation at the destination, including leveling the trailer on blocks and reinstalling skirting and stairs. The contractor bears liability for damage to the trailer, Government equipment, and non-Federal infrastructure or property. At the destination, the contractor must coordinate delivery and installation with Ames Federal Contracting Group, LLC (the on-site contractor) with no less than five business days' notice to Reclamation. Installation excludes water and sewer connections, which Reclamation will handle separately. The Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan specifies three performance areas: preparation (on-site inspection prior to transportation), transportation (Reclamation monitoring for safe delivery without safety issues), and installation (final inspection confirming proper placement and support on blocks).
