About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for FCCO Construction Trailer Relocation, Solicitation Number 140R4026Q0100, dated 15 July 2026 (Amendment Two).

The document addresses two inquiries regarding trailer setup requirements. Question 1 clarifies SOW Section C, iii #1 regarding trailer leveling and placement on blocks. The government confirmed that no concrete foundation is required; the contractor must only set up the trailer, level it with blocks, and re-skirt it. The trailer constitutes a temporary installation for approximately 2 to 2½ years before relocation. Question 2 requests improved weight documentation for the trailer, to which the government responded by providing photos of trailer plates attached to Amendment 2. The document includes three photographs showing the proposed trailer location with concrete pad preparation and surrounding site conditions.

1. In the SOW, section C, iii #1, "contractor shall level and place trailer on blocks as appropriate". Please clarify "as appropriate". Would this bid be acceptable towards a concrete footer?

Answer: we do not need a concrete foundation under the trailer. Only set up the trailer, level with blocks and re-skirt the trailer. The trailer is only a temporary set up for approx. 2 to 2 ½ years, then moved again.

2. Do you have a way to get a better image or another form of weight documentation?
