About this file

This solicitation is for a design-build project to construct a new Vandenberg Gate Complex at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. The existing main entrance gate is non-compliant with antiterrorism standards and experiences traffic congestion. The new complex must meet current force protection and vehicle barrier standards. It will serve as the primary installation access point. Offerors should design and build significant security upgrades and improve traffic flow through the existing entry control facility. The project will be designed as permanent construction according to various unified facilities criteria. The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District New England is the issuing agency. The document provides relevant details on the scope of work and standards the new complex must satisfy but does not include pricing terms or response deadlines.
