About this file
This is an AFMC Form 158 packaging requirements document for federal contract FD20202600398-00. The document specifies packaging and marking standards for five line items under military contract, with standards compliance required through MIL-STD-129 Revision R and MIL-STD-2073-1 Revision E.
Four items (5895DTG2601EB, 5895DTG2601EF, 5895DTG2601F0, and 5895DTG2601F1) are designated with PACRN codes AAA through AAD and require no specific packaging data. One item (5895015323892SS) with PACRN AAE is designated for MIL-STD-2073-1 compliance at Packaging Level B. All shipments involving wood packaging material must comply with United Nations phytosanitary restrictions on invasive species, requiring debarked wood with heat treatment to 56 degrees Celsius (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes, certified by an agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee and referenced to International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) No. 15. For the item requiring military packaging, shipping containers must be marked per MIL-STD-129 with additional bar coding requirements that may include unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturer names, and OEM model numbers as specified. The document was prepared by Charles B. Davis, Packaging Specialist with the 406 SCMS/GULAA organization, and is dated 04 February 2026.
