About this file
The document is a Nonsegregated Facilities Certification for the Kenton County Airport Board (KCAB) at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. This certification relates to the West Vault Electric Service Upgrade project, which involves a bid solicitation with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 12:30 pm in Erlanger, Kentucky. Bidders must submit questions by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, with answers posted by 11:59 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025. The bid submission deadline is Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with no bids accepted after that time unless an addendum is issued by KCAB.
The certification primarily focuses on ensuring equal opportunity and prohibiting segregated facilities in the workplace. It requires bidders to certify that they do not maintain segregated facilities based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, and that they will obtain identical certifications from subcontractors for contracts exceeding $10,000. The document is applicable to federally assisted construction contracts and emphasizes compliance with the Equal Opportunity Clause, with potential penalties for false statements as prescribed in 18 U.S.C. 1001.

The Bidder agrees that (except where it has obtained identical Certifications from proposed subcontractors for specific time periods) it will obtain identical Certifications from proposed subcontractors prior to the award of subcontracts exceeding $10,000 which are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clause, and that it will retain such Certifications in its files.
