WATERFRONT MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT PRIMARILY
FOR THE SHIPYARD INFRSTRUCTURE OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM AT HAWAII,
WASHINGTON AND OTHER AREAS UNDER THE COGNIZANCE OF NAVFAC
BACKGROUND. NAVFAC Pacific intends to solicit an $8,000,000,000 Waterfront Multiple Award Construction Contract (SIOP MACC). This SIOP MACC is intended for two primary construction task orders:
- P-209 Dry Dock #3 Replacement, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. Approximate Task Order value between $1,000,000,000 to $3,000,000,000.
- P-454 Multi-Mission Dry Dock, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Approximate Task Order value between $3,000,000,000 to $5,000,000,000.
In addition to these primary construction task orders, the SIOP MACC will be utilized for a series of pre-construction services task orders. The intent of the pre-construction services task orders is to engage SIOP MACC holders in optimizing the constructability of the P-209 and P- 454 construction contracts, as well as increase the readiness of the SIOP MACC holders to accomplish these mega-waterfront projects. Task orders may also be issued for construction of waterfront facilities such as warehouses, dry docks, piers/wharves, site improvements, dredging and incidental design, environmental, and services related to the waterfront facilities at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Puget Sound Naval Base and other areas under NAVFAC cognizance.
