About this file
This is Notice No. 5 dated January 29, 2025, containing pre-proposal questions and answers for RFP N62742-25-R-1311 regarding an Aircraft Maintenance Support Facility at Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, Australia.
The Q&A addresses technical specifications including culvert details referencing Drawings C-122 and C-503, soaked CBR requirements for pavement design, contamination testing requirements for PFAS-contaminated soil, security fencing specifications per Australian Standards AS1725.1-2010, bollard installation details (M16 bolt embedment revised to 125mm), and cattle grid specifications. Administrative clarifications indicate that electronic proposal copies via DoD Safe are sufficient without requiring CDs, and provides guidance on OSHA documentation requirements. Several responses reference forthcoming Amendment 0005 for revised drawings, while one question regarding airside permanent fencing remains pending response from the Base.
