PRE-PROPOSAL QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

RFP N62742-20-R-1303

FY20 MCAF PAF180300, APSI EARTH COVERED MAGAZINES,

ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE BASE, TINDAL, AUSTRALIA

NOTE: The following questions and answers are provided for INFORMATION ONLY. The RFP remains unchanged unless it is amended in writing on a Standard Form 30.

1. RFP, SF 1442 pg. 3 of 3, CLIN Schedule, OPTION ITEM NO. 1 and Drawings, Sheet CS102, KEYNOTES. Drawing CS102 shows the work to be performed in Site Plan Area 2. The above referenced “OPTION ITEM NO. 1” and the “KEYNOTES” from drawing CS102 describe the option 1 to be the “MAC SHELTER.” Can the Government please verify that “OPTION ITEM NO. 1” is just the “MAC SHELTER” and that all other scope of work in Site Plan Area 2, excluding the “MAC SHELTER”, is included in the base bid? Reference: RFP, SF 1442 pg. 3 of 3, 111757CLIN Schedule, OPTION ITEM NO. 1 and Drawings, Sheet CS102, KEYNOTES

ANSWER: Yes. Option #1 is just the MAC Shelter, and all other scope of work in Site Plan Area 2, EXCLUDING MAC Shelter shall be included in the base bid. To clarify, structural and architectural drawings detail construction with and without the MAC Shelter (Option #1).

2. N6274220R1303_RFP, SF 1442, CLIN SCHEDULE, OPTION ITEM NO. 2 and N62742-20-R-1303_Drawings, Drawings TT101 – T601.00. Is the CC TV System around the construction laydown going to be linked to the Tindal Security system monitored by Wilson Security? Is there a preferred US defense security system? What is the location of the monitoring station? Will it be US personnel or Tindal security monitoring the system?

ANSWER: CCTV system extension is for the permanent installation of security monitoring of the base perimeter due to the fence extension to incorporate the MAC pad. Reference to construction laydown may not be relevant. CCTV will be integrated into the existing monitoring systems present at RAAF Tindal. The existing system is a Honeywell based system, which is monitored by Wilsons Security at the Tindal Gatehouse.

3. Can the Government please provide the wage determination?

ANSWER: The wage determination is not required for the country of Australia.
