About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) response matrix for a Falconry Services contract at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego. The solicitation (N6247325Q0003) is a 100% small business set-aside and a follow-on to a previous contract (N6247320C0043) awarded on April 16, 2020, with a total value of $127,440.00. The government indicates there will be another amendment issued by March 25, 2025, and that each contract period will require a 30-day initial hazing period in addition to 24 service calls to address seasonal bird behavior.

Key details include the government's ongoing review of alternative bird deterrence technologies, confirmation that no notices of correction were issued for falconry services in the past 24 months, and references to site visit details to be outlined in Amendment 0001. The contract appears to require comprehensive falconry services for bird control and deterrence at the MCRD San Diego location, with specific attention to managing seasonal gull pressures and maintaining effective bird management strategies.
