About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) response for a Falconry Services contract at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) and NBPL NAVWAR OTC in San Diego, California. The solicitation (N62473-25-Q-0003) is a follow-on requirement from a previous contract (N6247320C0043) awarded on April 16, 2020, with a total value of $127,440.00. The acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses, and the government will issue another amendment by March 25, 2025.
Key details include a requirement for 30 recurring days of bird harassment activities followed by 24 service calls within the performance term. The department holds a Depredation Permit and will not allow alternative technology methods beyond falconry. Seasonal gull pressure, particularly during spring breeding, will require an annual intensive deterrence effort. Potential bidders must sign the amendment and are directed to review the revised Performance Work Statement (Attachment II) for specific requirements. Site visits and subcontractor access details will be addressed in Amendment 0001.
