RFIs (Requests For Information) Questions and Answers
Dated: November 10, 2020
RFI #3 Is this a single-award IDIQ or will there be multiple awards?
Answer: This procurement will result in a single award A-E IDIQ.
RFI #4 The Synopsis lists as an additional requirement, “A minimum of one (1) Design-Bid-
Build (Plans & Specs) project to demonstrate recent, relevant design experience with new buildings/facilities.” Can this requirement be eliminated, as “Design-Build” experience will also demonstrates the team’s ability to adequately prepare plans and specifications?
If this cannot be eliminated, will you allow Design-Bid-Build projects for renovations, as well as new buildings in this category?
Answer: Contractors shall conform to the current requirements of the Synopsis.
RFI #5 The Synopsis defines “recent” as A-E services completed within the past five years. Can this period be extended to within 12 years? For small business entities, this additional consideration would be beneficial to demonstrate our true capabilities.
Answer: The “recent” period will be extended to within the past seven years prior to the date of this Synopsis posting.
RFI #6 Can the “Recent Project” requirement be expanded to include projects that go back eight
(8) years from the SF330 due date? As a Small Business this would enhance our ability to more effectively compete for this IDIQ.
Answer: See response to RFI #5.
