Regarding to the new infrastructure for laying the cables, new duct banks will be required. Nevertheless, according to the drawing of the page 4 it seems that there would be concrete gallery for installations in the pier concrete. So, we will request you to clarify the following:
1. Is it necessary to extend the concrete galleries with new sections or we have only to execute new duct banks?
2. Can you specify clearly which sections of the new cables routes have a concrete gallery or a duct bank that can be use (in order to not consider the construction of new ones)?
3. For the new duct banks, can you provide us with the standar cross-section drawings that is normally used?
See Attachment G-P812
WO1603621 SPECS 2
OF 2
There are portions of existing duct that is to be reused. That is drawn with lighter lines and is marked also on the one line diagram. There are portions where new duct is required, so cutting and patching of the pier will be needed. The number of conduits in the ducts is marked on drawings.

We have seen that the different elements for the equipments grounding are stated in the sheet 15. Neverteless, we have not seen the design of the complete grounding system. We assume that the grounding will be a grounding ring type.
So, we kindly request you to provide a drawing with the standard grounding design for each one of the electricla equipment, specalle for the MV equipsments: PMSG, Transformer and
SUS.
See detail A2 on sheet E-505 and note #22.
Grounding for all the elements, except SUS, will be ring type around the pad mounted elements with ground rods in corners (embedded in the fill portion of the pier). For SUS follow sheet E-
502, note #5. The connection will be to a linear conductor buried in the pier portion, and nothing under the pier's utility trench.
Connection to the existing reinforcement bar is required.
