About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal shredder services recompete solicitation. The solicitation number is N6134027Q1001, searchable on sam.gov as "FY27 Shredder Services Recompete." The current incumbent is Crown Information Management (CAGE 3GZY0) under contract N6134021P0076. The response deadline was extended to 12 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, to allow vendors time to incorporate Performance Work Statement (PWS) updates identified during site visits.

Key PWS changes from the original include: modification of pickup frequency from weekly to bi-weekly; requirement that trucks undergo security inspection upon base entry; prohibition of subcontracting shredding work to third parties, though Joint Venture arrangements with NAID AAA-certified shredding companies are permissible with restrictions; shift from weight-based to console-based shredding performance measurement; inclusion of dock pickup of material in contract scope; and adherence to NAID AAA standard shredding size with appropriate downstream actions. The document also notes that the USN removed the sample LPTA TE Worksheet from the RFQ and references updated Joint Venture language in the combined synopsis/RFQ.
