About this file
This is a request for proposal for surface fire fighter and damage control contractor operation and maintenance services. The solicitation seeks proposals to provide maintenance and support for training systems and equipment at seven commands located in Mayport, FL, Norfolk, VA, Newport, RI, San Diego, CA, Pearl Harbor, HI, RTC Great Lakes, IL, and SWOSU Great Lakes, IL. The effort is a 100% small business set-aside. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with one base year and four option years, and also includes cost reimbursable lines for consumable products. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 with a size standard of $41.5M. The proposal due date is listed in block 9 of the RFP SF 33. The document also notes a deviation to the limitations on subcontracting clause at FAR 52.219-14 that allows small business primes to count certain first-tier subcontracted work as if performed by the prime itself.
