Performed Operational check and found Flight Deck and LW Cabin were in need of pilot cleaning. Was informed by site staff that they had only (1) person knowledgeable of operating the trainer and informed GSgt to contact the COR for Training.
8-9-17 – Cleaned out the pilot orifice on the Flight Deck Fireplace and the Low Wing Cabin Fireplace. Burned both Fireplaces satisfactorily and filled all water-bath Fireplaces with water and found that the outside Fuselage check valves (4) were leaking, causing the propane manifold to fill with water therefore causing some Fireplaces to fail. Found no spares to replace defective check valves. Informed staff of the problem and will place a requisition for the check valves. Informed staff trainer can still be used for training safely.
