A sources sought notice was posted to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website on 10 April 2017 under N44255-17-R-4021 as a market research tool to determine the availability of qualified small business sources prior to issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new Waterfront Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for the NAVFAC Northwest Area of Responsibility (AOR). Responses were due on 24 April 2017. Based on an analysis of the responses received, it was determined that this procurement will be solicited utilizing full and open competition; however, if two or more small businesses are awarded a contract the Contracting officer may set aside projects with a Government Estimate value under $2,500,000 strictly to small businesses.
