This is a Consolidated Scope of Work for boiler and water heater replacements at two Department of Defense facilities: Camp Lejeune and New River Air Station. The project (26-0701, MACC 26M010CN, Maximo 5074487, dated 07/28/2026) is managed by Leonard Neal at (910) 451-9560.
The contractor must remove and replace three boilers totaling 93 MBH net output at full input (two KC1000 units at WC140, one at AS508) and 14 domestic water heaters distributed across four Camp Lejeune facilities (HP52, HP56, HP551A, HP561A). Replacement water heaters are specified as PVI AquaPlex TurboPower 96 Model 50L600A-TPX or compatible equipment. The scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and services required for complete installation, testing, and commissioning compliant with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements. Field verification of all equipment specifications, quantities, and building system compatibility is required before procurement. The contractor must provide preconstruction surveys, coordinate shutdowns, reconfigure all piping (water and gas), install isolation and relief valves, provide complete venting and exhaust systems with condensate management, upgrade electrical systems with dedicated disconnects for each unit, and integrate controls with existing building automation systems where applicable. Gas piping must be leak-tested and documented before startup. Boiler startup must be properly documented with contractor responsibility for scheduling inspectors (Alex Vance 450-7153 or Rannie Rayes 450-7114) two weeks prior to startup date. Water heater startup requires a PVI-authorized representative to maintain warranty. Extensive closeout documentation is required including manufacturer startup reports for all 14 water heaters, test records, as-built drawings, updated electrical schedules, equipment warranties, and owner training. The scope excludes hazardous material abatement, structural modifications, major utility upgrades, and temporary hot-water service unless specifically added by written amendment.
