About this file

This is an addendum to a federal construction task order for HVAC unit replacement at Building 582, NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The addendum modifies Section 3 (Special Scheduling Requirements/Work Procedures) by replacing the original paragraph 3.1 with revised scheduling constraints. The Contract Completion Date (CCD) is established at 365 calendar days from task order award. Building 582 operates as a pool facility from approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day, and the contractor must schedule all on-site construction activities to occur either entirely before pool season or entirely after pool season, with no work permitted during or interfering with pool operations. Pool season is defined as 15 calendar days before Memorial Day through 15 days after Labor Day. The Construction Manager may approve limited non-intrusive activities such as non-destructive investigation, photography, and measurements upon request. The contractor must submit a detailed construction schedule for advance approval by both the Construction Manager and the Activity, with demonstrated compliance regarding non-interference with pool season operations required prior to schedule approval.
