About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation for Building 171 Machine Shop Repairs at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia, issued by NAVFAC MID-ATLANTIC Contracting Core. The amendment (Number 0002) updates several key aspects of the original solicitation, including changing the point of contact from Jonathan Durham to Kristy Gerrek and modifying pre-proposal inquiry and solicitation submittal requirements. Significant changes include a new pre-proposal inquiry deadline of Monday, 24 November 2025 at 2:00PM EST, additional certification requirements for representations, and a site visit scheduled for Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at 1300 hours at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Each MACC holder is limited to three visitors for the site visit, and participants must complete a SECNAV 5512 form and submit it by 12 November 2025 at 4:00PM EST. The amendment also specifies detailed submission requirements for the price proposal, including electronic original submission with specific documentation and a bid guarantee of at least 20 percent of the proposed price, not exceeding $3 million.
