About this file
This is Amendment 0003 to solicitation N4008525B2500 for an IR DEMO Project at Camp Lejeune, issued by NAVFACSYSCOM Mid-Atlantic on February 25, 2025. The amendment includes maps and responses to 26 contractor questions about the demolition project which involves 53 structures.
Key clarifications provided include: no UXO is expected during foundation excavation; construction phasing is not required; contractors must provide their own equipment and job trailers; the contractor is responsible for verifying cold/dark status of structures and disposing of any remaining items inside; NCDEQ stormwater permitting is not applicable; no air sampling or blood testing is required; and contractors must have OSHA hazard waste certification. The government intends to fully fund the total project rather than partial funding for select structures. Several responses refer contractors to sheet G-002 for specific requirements regarding demolition, environmental notes, and recycling requirements. Some questions about hazardous waste permits are still pending input from the Designer of Record.
