DEVGRU Contractor Access Instructions:
Step One:
DBIDS. Either get each person a permanent CAC, or obtain a temporary DBIDS. Authorization and paperwork is via your Contract Specialist and obtained at NAS Oceana Pass and ID.
Step Two:
If driving a company vehicle with signage on the vehicle, go to NAS Oceana Pass and ID and go through the inspection lane before coming to Dam Neck. (It’s a really good idea to drive something without signage.)
Step Three:
Submit “DEVGRU SPREADSHEET” for a Visitors Request. (Submitted to N10ENG, in this case Don Bryant. The N10ENG will submit internally.)
Step Four:
Schedule Duty Escorts for the effort. (Requested by you, performed by N10ENG, in this case Don Bryant.)
The above must be done before going to Dam Neck.
Step Four:
Arrive at the DEVGRU Visitors Center BEFORE the scheduled time. Duty Escorts will be there waiting for you. If you are late, it is highly likely that they will leave and do their normal job. If this happens, you will not be working on compound that day.
Step Five:
Meet your escort and obtain Command Visitors Badge at the Visitors Center. You will have to trade your driver’s license or other picture ID for the Command Visitors Badge. Badge must be worn at all times on your front, above the waist.
Step Six:
Do your work in constant contact with your Duty Escort. Don’t leave him/her. Don’t wander off.
Step Seven:
When you leave for lunch or for the day, return to the Visitors Center (still accompanied by your Duty Escort) to return your badge and obtain your ID.
