About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the BQ-455 Renovations and Repairs project at the Naval Submarine Base New London. The amendment provides responses to pre-proposal inquiries, revises the construction schedule language in Factor 2, and extends the overall project duration to 745 days. The responses clarify that Davis-Bacon wage rates apply and security checks will be required for base access. A geotechnical report and existing roof photos are referenced. The amendment does not designate a location for contractor facilities but states the contractor must submit a site plan for approval. No current security system vendor is identified. The retainage percentage will be in accordance with FAR 52.232-5. All questions were answered directly and concisely without extensions to the proposal due date.
