RFP N40083-14-R-2710; MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION

MULTIPLE AWARD CONTRACT at the NAVAL SUPPORT

ACTIVITY, CRANE IN

AMENDMENT 04: Questions/Clarifications 05/13/2014

PHASE I

10. Proposal Receipt date is extended to Monday, June 02, 2014 @ 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

11. Factor 5 (ITEM a) requests performance evaluations regarding the implementation of SB subcontracting plans for all contracts referenced under Factor 3 Past Performance. If that performance is evaluated in Factor 3 why is it being asked for again under Factor 5?

Response: Factor 5 is applicable for contracts in which the offeror is the prime contractor, includes both Small Business concerns and Large Businesses.

Paragraph "a" applies to "the implementation of small business subcontracting plans”.

The majority of Factor 5 is not applicable to Small Business concerns. (Items b/c/d and g might be applicable to SB concerns, item f is applicable to SB Concerns)

12. Will flowmeters be required?

Response: Flow meters may be required. This will be dependent upon the work involved with a particular project and will be determined on a Task Order specific basis.

13. If flowmeters are required, for what flows and what type will be excepted?

Response: Refer to NAVFAC Response 1 stating that this will be dependent upon the work involved with a particular project and will be determined on a Task Order specific basis.
