About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command seeking janitorial services at Naval Support Activity Bethesda. The services include janitorial work at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and over 40 tenant commands. The amendment extends the proposal due date from June 8 to June 15, 2020 to allow more time to address request for information questions. It provides the fully executed collective bargaining agreement and site visit sign-in sheet. The incumbent contractor is Ace Maintenance & Services, Inc. The amendment removes FAR Clause 52.208-9 regarding mandatory sources of supply or services. The responses to 34 questions clarify or correct aspects of the solicitation such as confirming Walter Reed is a 24/7 full service facility, and that proposals must be mailed rather than emailed.
