About this file
This amendment to a solicitation provides government responses to questions from offerors. The solicitation is for Equipment Support Services to maintain readiness of naval expeditionary equipment assets. The contract will provide services including inspection, overhaul, repair, refurbishment, preventive maintenance and logistics management in support of fleet readiness. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center maintains expeditionary equipment and seeks to augment capabilities through this contract. One question asked whether licensed chief engineers with project management experience could meet requirements for project manager or shop supervisor. The government response states offerors must identify personnel to meet all requirements and qualifications listed for key positions, but experience can substitute for certifications.
