About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the yearly maintenance requirements for two 15KW Portable Diesel Generators (Generator A #7DC5521MZM04633 and Generator B #7DC3574MZM0634) located at the Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department Point Loma (NRMD-PL). The comprehensive maintenance tasks include detailed inspections and services such as checking and adjusting fluid levels, examining fuel and cooling systems, testing batteries, inspecting engine components, changing filters and oils, and performing operational tests.

The document specifies that all replacement parts must be new OEM parts, and the work will be performed on-site at NRMD-PL. The government's responsibilities include providing escorts and electrically connecting equipment for post-service operational checks. Key maintenance activities for each generator include checking fluid levels, inspecting air filters, testing batteries, examining fuel and cooling systems, greasing components, taking oil and coolant samples, running the unit under load, and submitting a comprehensive report to the customer upon completion of service.
