About this file
This document provides details regarding contracted air services and continued airworthiness requirements for the Naval Air Systems Command. The Navy seeks to award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for helicopter services in the Hawaiian operating area to support the Pacific Missile Range Facility. Services may include training, supply, and support for shipboard groups and personnel. The contract would have a base period of four years and 364 days with an anticipated 200 flight hours per year for medium lift and 175 hours for heavy lift helicopters. Responses to the special notice were due by May 7, 2020 and should include company information, capabilities statements, and responses to sixteen questions. The notice also describes inspection requirements for contractors under DCMA Instruction 8210.1C including government flight representative reviews every four to six months and aviation maintenance management team audits every two years.
