Unless otherwise specified, the requirements of this clause are not imposed on the procurement of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) or catalog type assemblies and subassemblies. Contractor’s use of a higher class of soldering standard than required is acceptable, unless it increases cost. The Contractor shall ensure that items supplied for this Contract have passed inspection by the Contractor's Quality Assurance department for applicable class of IPC/EIA J-STD-001. The classes of use are:

1. Products where the major requirements are functions of the completed assembly: All soldering and assembly shall be in compliance with IPC/EIA J-STD-001, Class 1 requirements.

The Contractor’s invoices shall state separate incremental and cumulative amounts for each CLIN with further segregation by task and subtask showing each element of cost.

Invoices shall contain the following cost elements by schedule and include supporting detail. The Contractor shall submit invoices with two attachments.
