About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document addressing vendor inquiries regarding baghouse system maintenance and replacement work at two buildings.

Building 365 Requirements: The work involves maintaining a Camfil Gold Series Model GS84 baghouse system, including replacement of 84 extreme synthetic filter cartridges (Model FLTR-GS-XS-325) and 1 air actuator. Vendors must obtain technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation from the Camfil website, as this is a newly installed system requiring its first filter change. The exhaust discharge exits from the back of the fan on top of the baghouse rather than through a dedicated exhaust stack. Repair actuator tubing specifications and sizing requirements are available in the Camfil manual.

Building 366 Requirements: Work involves servicing a TR & TRH Mikropul-Pulsar Dry Dust Collector requiring replacement of 480 cartridge bag filters with associated cages, clamps, gaskets, and venturis, plus 1 Mikropul dust collector filter replacement. Complete system manual and specifications are provided as solicitation attachments. Filters were last changed in 2019-2020. No model or serial tags were found on either baghouse; a site visit is scheduled for May 1st to visually inspect both systems. All work involves exposure to flare ash, requiring personnel to wear Tyvek suits, respirators, gloves, and air monitoring. The Government will accept equivalent components if compatible with original equipment specifications; OEM parts are not mandatory.
