Compensation is based on Unit Prices from the Construction Task Catalog as defined in each Job Order's Detailed Scope of Work, subject to Adjustment Factors for different facility types and working hours. The initial contract amount is set at $1,000,000 for bonding purposes, with a maximum contract value not to exceed $3,000,000 per contractor. Contractors must be California-licensed Class C-21 contractors with a minimum five-year continuous experience in comparable municipal projects valued between $100,000 and $1,000,000, and must maintain a staffed office within San Mateo County or within 55 miles of the County Center. Prevailing wage rates determined by the Department of Industrial Relations are mandatory. Each selected contractor must provide a $250,000 Performance Bond and $250,000 Payment Bond (increasing to $3,000,000 if aggregate Job Orders exceed $1,000,000) and pay a 1% JOC System License Fee on all Job Orders. Contractors must maintain comprehensive insurance including workers' compensation, general liability, motor vehicle liability, and all-risk property insurance. The apparent lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder for each contract will be excluded from consideration for successive contracts to ensure competitive rotation.
