Issued by
Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command

About this file

This solicitation requests proposals for repair and replacement of overruns on the center runway at Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas. The contractor will repair sections O06C through O10C and T16A by milling and overlaying asphalt and installing new edge lighting and runway thresholds to meet current standards. The work is required due to deterioration identified in 2010 that generates potential for foreign object damage. The acquisition is set aside for small businesses with a NAICS code of 237310 and size standard of $39.5 million. An organized site visit will be held on January 21, 2023 at 1000 for interested parties to obtain entry to the base. Proposals are due by February 15, 2023. The government will award a firm fixed-price contract and anticipates an award value between $2-6 million. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award.
