About this file
This Contract Data Requirements List outlines 17 data items required under an engineering contract for upgrading the suspension system on the M870A2-S Medium Heavy Equipment Transporter. Key requirements include delivery of receipt reports for government materials on a quarterly basis, status reports for government furnished equipment and information, engineering drawings and models to support competitive procurement and maintenance, a corrosion prevention and control plan, a contractor configuration management plan, engineering change proposals, audit reports, and a technical data package. Submission methods, distribution statements, and points of contact are provided for each data item.
This pre-solicitation notice is for a small business set-aside contract to produce and install an upgraded suspension system for 308 M870A2-S Medium Heavy Equipment Transporters used by the United States Marine Corps. The selected contractor must be capable of supplying equipment, training, and spare parts support. The Marine Corps intends to award a single indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity firm-fixed-price contract with cost reimbursable contract line items based on best value. The final request for proposal is expected to be released soon, with proposals due within 45 days and contract award anticipated in fiscal year 2019. The place of performance will be at the contractor's facility within the United States.
