About this file
This is a set of judging scoresheets for the 2025 USMC JROTC National Drill Championship Unarmed Platoon Exhibition competition. The scoresheets consist of four identical forms for judges to evaluate drill team performances across 12 categories including Report In/Out (15 points each), Team/Cadet Appearance (15 points), Routine Showmanship (15 points), Team/Cadet Bearing (30 points), Team/Cadet Marching (30 points), Movement Variety/Difficulty/Precision (30 points each), Routine Composition & Flow (30 points), Military Flavor (30 points), and Overall Impression (30 points).
Each category is scored on a scale from Poor to Exceptional, with specific point ranges defined. The total possible score is 300 points per judge. Additional scoring elements include penalties for boundary violations (10 points each), time violations (1 point per second under/over the 5-8 minute requirement), and penalties for having fewer than the minimum 10 cadets (-25 points per missing cadet). The Head Judge's sheet includes additional penalty tracking sections not found on the other judges' forms. Any scores in the "Poor" category must have written justification provided in the notes section.
