About this file
Summary
This document is Attachment 10 to a federal solicitation providing Military Treatment Facility (MTF) descriptions and workload data for healthcare environmental cleaning services across multiple U.S. Army medical installations in Germany. The attachment details facility overviews, operating hours, environmental services statistics, and healthcare statistics for six separate MTFs: Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC), Baumholder Health/Dental/Veterinary Clinic, Kleber Health and Dental Clinic, Pulaski Veterinary Clinic, Wiesbaden Health/Dental/Veterinary Clinic, and Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center (ROBMC).
LRMC is the primary facility, comprising a 3-story tower with 8 operating rooms, ICU, emergency department, radiology, laboratory, and 58-83 staffed beds depending on fiscal year. The facility experiences significant patient volume with 730,594 annual outpatient encounters (FY25), 500 annual births, 6,225 inpatient surgeries, and 136,056 radiology procedures. LRMC generates approximately 500 kilograms of regulated medical waste daily and processes 260,000 kilograms of linen annually. The outpatient and support clinics operate primarily 0700-1700 hours with critical services (operating rooms, emergency, ICU, laboratory) operating 24/7. Ancillary clinics range from 0700-1700 or extended hours to 0700-2300 depending on department function. The outlying clinics (Baumholder, Kleber, Pulaski, and Wiesbaden) provide primary ambulatory care with substantially smaller workloads, operating 0700-1700. ROBMC is a new medical center scheduled to open July 2030 with 9 operating rooms, 120 exam rooms, and 68 beds with 25-bed surge capacity. Cleaning requirements across all facilities include management of multiple dispensers (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, hand sanitizer), glass door cleaning (ranging from 50 to 3,000 estimated glass doors depending on facility), and regulated medical waste handling where applicable.
