About this file
This is a Letter of Agreement document regarding Prevailing Wage and Labor (PLA) requirements for public construction projects administered by the City of Toledo, Ohio. The document establishes prevailing wage standards and labor compliance requirements that apply to construction work performed on public projects within the City's jurisdiction. The agreement outlines mandatory prevailing wage rates, labor standards, and compliance procedures that contractors must follow when bidding on and executing public construction contracts. The document serves as the authoritative reference for wage determination and labor requirements for all covered construction activities under City of Toledo public projects during the 2021 agreement period.
The PLA document establishes prevailing wage determinations and labor compliance standards that contractors must incorporate into their bids and project execution. All contractors submitting bids on covered public construction projects must comply with the specified prevailing wage rates and provide evidence of labor compliance. The agreement defines which construction classifications fall under prevailing wage requirements, establishes hourly wage rates for various trades and labor categories, and outlines the reporting and documentation procedures contractors must maintain throughout project performance. The document serves as a binding reference that supersedes individual project bid specifications regarding labor cost calculations and ensures that all public construction work meets state and federal prevailing wage standards.
