GEOGRAPHIC FOCUS - POTENTIAL LOCATIONS
For the purposes of allowing Offerors to respond to the solicitation No. XXX with informed responses, USAID has developed a list of potential municipalities where the Sembrando Esperanza Activity may take place. The list was developed using available numeric quantitative georeferenced migration, crime and security data. This data has been prioritized, normalized, and weighted based on the Activity’s expected goal.
However, it is important to underscore that as part of the new Country Development and Cooperation Strategy 2021-2025, USAID/Honduras will develop an evidence-based Migration Geotargeting Model to select municipalities with higher impact potential to reduce irregular migration and its drivers. The model will use a diverse and robust dataset that allows for scenario and cross-variable analysis. The final list will be shared with the incumbent upon award.
The list below includes 26 potential municipalities; the Offerors may provide suggestions for further targeting and/or clusters for both technical and administrative considerations based on this list.
