The playground design is based on a Kompan design per Site Plan K1.0 dated January 19, 2025, with equivalent products permitted if pre-approved by Facilities Management. The estimated maximum liability for the contract is expected to exceed three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000), with the State exempt from local, state, and federal excise taxes. Contractors are responsible for all delivery costs on an F.O.B. destination basis and must maintain a payment bond equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the maximum liability amount. All goods and services are subject to inspection and acceptance by the State with a thirty-day acceptance period following delivery, and contractors must provide a warranty of not less than one year from final inspection, with materials warranted per manufacturer specifications.
