ITB 26-VSW-UNK-011
Unalakleet Water System Replacement Project ITB Due Date: October 9, 2025 @ 2:00 PM AST
The following are vendor questions and the department’s response and required changes:
1. Vendor: For the response to question 3 below [see Amendment 4, question and response # 3]. The amount of contaminated soil is unknown. How are we supposed to bid an unknown quantity. In the past on projects with unknown contaminated soils, we have been able to provide unit price for excavating, testing, disposal and backfill for 10CY - 100 CY. For bidding purposes should we plan on doing the same for this project.
Department: For bidding purposes assume no contaminated soil will be encountered. See amendment 4 response to question # 16 for further information.
