SUBJECT: Industry Day Information for Solicitation 80GRC021R0011 – Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) Engineering and Technical Services (SETS)
The NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) recently announced a contract opportunity for Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) Engineering and Technical Services (SETS). The procurement is a follow-on consolidation of contracts NNC16CA41C and 80HQTR17A0011.
An information exchange for SETS will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. The event will be held via both teleconference and Microsoft Teams meeting starting promptly at 10:00 AM EST. The event is planned for one and a half hours. Additional 30-minute one-on-one slots are available upon request following the Industry Day meeting. Please contact the Contracting Officer, Noah Garrison, via e-mail at noah.s.garrison@nasa.gov to request the Microsoft Teams link to register for both the TEAMS meeting attendance and/or for a 30-minute one-on-one session by 12:00 PM EST on November 15, 2021. Unregistered parties MAY NOT attend any of the Industry Day activities – no exceptions will be made to the registration deadline.
Registering parties are limited to 4 individuals per company and all participants must be current US citizens.
The SETS presentation will be posted to the SAM website (https://sam.gov/) prior to this event start time. The presentation information will be discussed with an opportunity for questions after the presentation concludes.
Prior to this information exchange event, we are requesting that attendees send the Contracting Officer one point of contact with the following information:
• Company Name
• Company Address
• POC name
• POC e-mail
• POC phone number
A list of attending companies will also be posted to https://sam.gov/. Attendance at the event is neither required nor a prerequisite for proposal submission and will not be considered in the evaluation. An onsite Industry Day is not planned for this procurement.
Interested parties are responsible for monitoring SAM for any updates or changes. Any comments regarding this information exchange can be submitted via e-mail to noah.s.garrison@nasa.gov no later than 4:30 pm EST on December 3, 2021. The Government does not intend to formally respond to these comments but will consider them when finalizing the Request for Proposal (RFP). Please put draft solicitation number 80GRC021R0011 in the subject line of any e-mail submission.
