About this file

This is a Small Business Preference submittal form for the City of Austin's Invitation for Bid (IFB) 7800 MAS1010 for OEM Parts, Equipment & Repairs for Kubota Agricultural Tractors. The City of Austin seeks to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer parts, equipment, and repair services for Kubota agricultural tractors on an as-needed basis. The contract is intended to provide non-warranty repair services, though the contractor must be authorized by the manufacturer to provide warranty repair services as well. The submittal form allows offerors to voluntarily identify themselves as recognized Small Businesses to participate in the City's Small Business Preference Procurement Program and receive incentive consideration.

Offerors qualifying as Small Business Primes may receive full preference, while non-small business offerors using one or more Small Business subcontractors may receive partial preference if combined Small Business subcontracting values meet or exceed five percent of the total contract amount. The City recognizes Small Businesses as entities holding recognized certifications that comply with the U.S. Small Business Administration's Small Business Size Standards. Participation in the Small Business Preference Program is optional and not required to respond to the solicitation. Offerors must complete the certification section of the form, providing their certifying entity name, certification number, and expiration date. The City reserves the right to request additional information to confirm certifications, and any misrepresentation of Small Business status or subcontractor certifications may result in withholding preference, disqualification from contract award, or contract voidance if discovered post-award.
