About this file

This is a Subcontracting Plan submittal form for the City of Austin's Bulk Industrial Gases and Tank Rental contract (IFB 1100 CPG1006). The City of Austin seeks a contractor to furnish and deliver industrial gases, specifically hydrogen and nitrogen, and provide rental, mobilization, demobilization, and installation services for two pressure vessels to support City operations on an annual basis. The form provides a template for contractors to identify any subcontractors they intend to use on this project, requiring City approval prior to subcontractor engagement and any subsequent changes to approved subcontractors.

The City of Austin has determined that no Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) subcontracting goals apply to this contract due to insufficient subcontracting opportunities and insufficient availability of certified MBE/WBE firms. However, contractors are encouraged to utilize certified Small Business subcontractors, including MBE/WBE firms, whenever possible. The subcontracting plan is optional, and contractors must complete detailed information for each proposed subcontractor, including vendor identification, contact details, scope of work, relevant experience, subcontract amount and percentage, and small business certification details if applicable.
