About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) attachment document for the City of Austin, Texas, related to a bulk industrial gases and tank rental procurement. The City seeks a qualified contractor to furnish and deliver hydrogen and nitrogen industrial gases and provide rental, mobilization, demobilization, and installation services for two pressure vessels to support City operations on an annual basis. The procurement specifies detailed requirements for gas delivery schedules, tank specifications, and service performance standards. The contract term spans one year with potential renewal options to be determined based on contractor performance and City operational needs.
The document establishes pricing structures for both gas delivery and tank rental services, with costs to be quoted on a unit basis for gases and monthly rates for tank rental and ancillary services. Specific requirements address equipment specifications, delivery frequency, safety compliance, and emergency response protocols. The procurement does not appear to include set-asides for small or minority-owned businesses, though the final IFB may contain such provisions. Funding for this contract derives from the City of Austin's operational budget allocated to support departmental gas requirements and equipment leasing needs.
