About this file
This is a delivery location and procedures document for the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) Clearpass Full Body Scanner Locations, specifying requirements across six correctional facilities in Illinois. The document outlines delivery logistics for Stateville Correctional Center (Joliet), Logan Correctional Center (Lincoln), Pontiac Correctional Center (Pontiac), Lawrence Correctional Center (Sumner), Menard Correctional Center (Menard), and Pinckneyville Correctional Center (Pinckneyville). Each facility designates specific acceptable delivery days (Monday through Friday, excluding state authorized holidays), receiving hours ranging from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, and vehicle accessibility requirements with tractor-trailer height restrictions between 12 and 13.6 feet and length restrictions between 48 and 53 feet depending on the facility.
Each facility requires 24-hour advance notification prior to delivery, with trucks to be turned off and keys secured before unloading. All pallets must be shrink-wrapped, and truck drivers must present valid driver's licenses. Facilities maintain contact information for their respective Business Administrators to coordinate deliveries. Special restrictions are imposed at some locations, including prohibitions on glass, prescription drugs, and metal food utensils at Lawrence, Menard, and Pinckneyville facilities. Pinckneyville Correctional Center has no vehicle accessibility restrictions. The document notes that for procurements conducted through BidBuy, the State may include the BidBuy Purchase Order containing agreed supplies and services in the contract. No pricing, contract term, or funding information is provided in this document.
