About this file
This document contains a plan review letter and fire flow analysis for a proposed project at the USDA-ARS Knipling-Bushland Research Laboratory in Kerrville, Texas. The plan review letter from the City of Kerrville addresses comments from engineering and fire marshal reviews of water pressure calculations for the proposed modernization project at 2700 Fredericksburg Road. The attached fire flow analysis map and data indicate available fire flows between 1,565 and 2,073 gallons per minute from existing fire hydrants near the laboratory, with residual pressures ranging from 21 to 80 psi depending on the hydrant. The related federal contract opportunity is for the USDA-ARS Knipling-Bushland Research Laboratory Modernization Project being solicited by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District under solicitation number W9126G21R0034.
