About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation HT940625Q0001 regarding Turnkey Patient Wi-Fi Services. The document covers technical specifications and requirements, clarifying that TAA compliance is not required, but usage reports and content filtering for pornographic content are required features. The network will operate on 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands as a standalone system without connection to .mil/.gov networks.

Key details include that AP placement should be prioritized even if new penetrations and mounts are needed, existing Segra equipment in the dental building should remain in place, and network cables/fiber must be run in conduit. The demarcation location is in the rear maintenance room of the main clinic at 110 NNPTC Circle Building 2418, Goose Creek, SC 29445. The contractor must provide monthly reports showing Wi-Fi uptime, downtime and usage statistics. The network does not require any specific certifications or compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, DoD cyber standards), and there are no critical performance areas or requirements for voice grade/location-based tracking.

"Contractor shall provide a monthly report to the COR to show uptime and downtime of Wi-Fi network, average usage and average available speeds"

Do you mean the internet connection for the Wi-Fi network or the Wi-Fi network itself. Those are two different things, and the latter means some level of Managed Services to be able to pull statistics from the controller and you stated several times in the Q&A that this will be Navy Managed not provider Managed.

This is not a Navy managed wifi network.

We expect to see monthly reports of Wifi up time and downtime, and useage .

What certifications or compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, DoD cyber standards) must the new network meet?

None
